Why is The #BlackLivesMatter Movement so important?

To put it simply, Black Lives Matter is an immensely important contribution to society. For thousands of years, black people have been oppressed; hated on and marginalised. Black people are still the main victims of police brutality.  Black Lives Matter aims to spread awareness surrounding the discrimination black people STILL to this day face in society. So, when you ask me ”is it really important?” YES it is.  Especially important in ending the prejudice and discrimination to those who are black.
